The University of Michigan’s Survey Research Department has selected Iman Academy as a research site for its study “Monitoring the Future 2022.” The study will monitor the school experiences of older Middle and High School students. Students will be asked questions such as, “how important is religion in your life?” Research has indicated that religion can serve as a protective factor for substance use. Other questions may include “How many hours do you spend in an average week on homework,” “Which describes your plans after high school?”, etc. All research is funded by the National Institute of Health and conducted by The University of Michigan, Institute of Social Research. ...
