The annual Science Fair is an opportunity for Iman Academy students to apply and demonstrate their scientific knowledge in a fun and competitive environment. Our students compete at the school level and the winners are then entered in the Science and Engineering Fair of Houston. The Science Fair allows our students to conduct real-life experiments, analyze the results and then communicate their findings to experienced judges. Moreover, we view such competitions as key developmental tools in nurturing a child’s critical thinking skills, communication skills, as well as their self-esteem.
PSIA is an exciting opportunity for students in grades 1 through 8 to engage in academic competition with their peers throughout the state of Texas.
To further develop academic skills and build a competitive spirit, Iman Academy participates in the PSIA competition annually. The local winners go on to represent their region and their school at the state-level competition. For more information, please visit the PSIA website.
